{"id":16989,"date":"2021-03-08T12:52:12","date_gmt":"2021-03-08T17:52:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mundoitam.com\/2021\/03\/08\/itam-reports-on-actions-around-gender-issues\/"},"modified":"2021-03-08T12:52:12","modified_gmt":"2021-03-08T17:52:12","slug":"itam-reports-on-actions-around-gender-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mundoitam.com\/en\/2021\/03\/08\/itam-reports-on-actions-around-gender-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"ITAM Reports on Actions Around Gender Issues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As it has done since Spring 2020, ITAM released a <strong>report on the application of the Protocol Against Sexual Harassment<\/strong>, as well as affirmative actions to promote gender equality and culture at ITAM, corresponding to the Fall 2020 Semester.<\/span><\/p><div class=\"mundo-contenido\" style=\"margin-top: 20px;margin-bottom: 20px;\" id=\"mundo-1008995191\"><style type=\"text\/css\">\r\n .ad-square h3 { \r\n\tfont-size: 11px;\r\n    font-weight: 300;\r\n    letter-spacing: 2.3px;\r\n    color: #6a6c6e;\r\n    font-weight: normal;\r\n    margin: 18px 0;  \r\n\tfont-family: \"Lato\", \"Helvetica Neue\", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\r\n\t}\r\n<\/style>\r\n\r\n<!--<center> <div class=\"ad-square\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>ANUNCIO<\/h3>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/noche.itam.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/mundoitam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/noche-itam-v2.png\" alt=\"Anuncio\" style=\"border: none; display: block;\"><\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/div> <\/center>--><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/flyers.itam.mx\/comunicacion\/2021\/febrero\/10\/doc\/Reporte-sobre-Genero-Diversidad-Inclusion-y-Acoso-Sexual-primavera-2021.pdf\"><strong>See the Report on Gender, Diversity, Inclusion and Sexual Harassment that corresponds to the Fall 2020 semester.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following highlights of the period stand out:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eleven pending formal accusations from the Spring 2020 semester were resolved.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regarding these, two recommendations were issued not to rehire the accused teacher and administrative staff member, among other consequences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Investigation Committee continues to work on a case that it aims to conclude as soon as possible.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In preventive matters, first level education was provided on gender, feminism and democracy.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strategies, spaces for dialogue and initial agreements were devised on how to address the treatment of gender violence with various feminist associations and collectives at ITAM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A seminar on The Best Practices to Prevent, Address, Punish and Eradicate Gender Violence in the University Context was held.
